PSHCEe

This afternoon, Year Three have been thinking about feelings that they experience as well as how they might deal with their own feelings.  The children also spoke about how they might recognise good or not so good feelings in others.  The children then listened to the story, ‘The Tear Thief’ by Carol Ann Duffy ready for the next lesson.

A very special announcement

At the end of the last academic year, one of our children entered a competition to create a story character for the new Alex Sparrow book.

This girl created a character named Harry the Horse and even made a sculpture of him. Today, we Skyped the author, Jennifer Killick, who announced that this little girl had won the competition! Harry the Horse will be written into the new novel and will even feature on the front cover!
