Year Three have started learning about perimeter. The children were told that the owners of Liverpool FC wanted to paint a fresh white line around the edge of the pitch. They had to investigate how they might measure the distance the whole way around. Then the child practised measuring the perimeter of smaller 2d shapes.
Year Three were working hard last week to not only use inverse calculations but to explain when they might use it and how they would use it.
